Each lab should have one member trained for microscopy.

YOU MUST NOT use any of the microscopes below without consultation and instruction from this person.

Bookings

Bookings may be made by Calendar- 3 hr maximum session.

Bookings may also be made by phone if you do not have access to Monash Calendar -9903 0896

Equipment and Location

Confocal: Morphology rm, basement, Baker Institute, AMREP

• You must fill in lamp time and your session comments in the book near the microscope or risk usage ban.

Fluorecence, light, phase, DIC: Rm 2U47

• Microscope
  • Leica DMRB equipped with digital camera DC100 (fluorescence and light)
  • Leica (light only eg for H&E)
  • Zeiss Axioskop (fluorescence, light, phase and DIC)
  • Nikon inverted phase contrast (phase and DIC eg culture flasks)
    
    
• All microscopes above may be fitted with the digitial camera
• You must fill in lamp time and your session comments or risk ban.
