On 12 Nov the Vice-Chancellors Group approved the move of the Bachelor of Health Science to Caulfield campus from 2009. From 1 January, the Department of Health Science will be integrated into the SPHPM, to be called the Department of Health Social Science. The redeveloped Bachelor of Health Science is planned to begin from 2010. Professor Helen Keleher heads up the Department of Health Science.

Dec 3 , 1-2 pm. How the ARC system works: a guide for clinical researchers.  Prof Marcello Rosa, Department of Physiology. Prof Rosa is a current member of the ARC College of Experts and sits on the Biological Sciences and Biotechnology panel.  He has been successful in obtaining funding from both the ARC and NHMRC.  Prof Rosa will talk about his observations as a member of the ARC College and NHMRC grant review panels, and his experience as an applicant writing proposals for both funding bodies.
