| David de Kretser Prize |

The David de Kretser Prize for our top developmental biology student is a prize of $1000, awarded annually to the student who has the highest aggregate mark for units DEV2011, DEV2022, DEV3011 and DEV3022. These units are on offer to our Science and Biomedical Science students in 2nd and 3rd year. In addition to this monetary award, the David de Kretser prize will be recognised on the student's academic transcript. David de Kretser was Professor of Anatomy in Monash University's Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences from 1978 to 2005. He is currently the Governor of Victoria, and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. |
